Hang Zhou, China

One of the most famous recreational resorts in China, well known since medieval times for its mild climate and beautiful environment  today is at the same time a modern industrial town. It is located along the "West Lake". The area is full of historical sites, most of which had been destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. However, many of them have been rebuilt recently. In this area, also the best chinese tea is grown, reaching "Emperor" quality, which in former times was reserved for the regents only!
