Pont-à-Mousson, Lorraine, France

....is a small town in the mining and industrial district of the upper Mosel river valley, about 20 Km north of Nancy. Famous for its large abbey, Pont-au-Mousson is famous for its large Abbey, however besides that it is a classical small industrial town - in some areas, you still seem to feel the time of early industrialization of the last century. And you can sense hard work in peoples faces here, quite unusual in Central Europe today.

The best part of the town: a small "Notre Dame"

An intensive chat near the central market place!

Similarities? Industrial scene and statues in the church tower

Where is the paradise?

Well, below there is at least an "Eldorado"!
