Katwijk aan Zee, Netherlands        


Some Kilometers north of Den Haag´s famous seaside resort, Scheveningen, with its multi-story Hotels and Gambling Casinos you can find a small town with a completely different atmosphere: Katwijk. No large concrete buildings, but only small to medium hotels and residences overlooking the dunes and beautiful beaches.

For those who enjoy nightlife and action - this is not the right place - it is very quiet!
But fun is only some Kilometers away - in Scheveningen, or in just half an hour Amsterdam can be reached. There is something for everyone here - except if you are looking for a letter box - they really seem to be rare here (or I just don´t have the right instinct.....)

The historic town of Leiden is just some Kilometers inland - and the city of Amsterdam is not far away, too (below)
